Kameya Mannendo "Ichigo Daifuku"

From Kameya Mannendo, "Ichigo Daifuku", which is sold only for 12 days a year, is now available. It will be sold only on Thursday, Friday and Saturday in February. Available at direct sales stores (29 stores in Kanagawa, Tokyo).

Kameya Mannendo's "Ichigo Daifuku" is a strawberry daifuku made by wrapping a whole grain of Shizuoka brand strawberry "Red cheeks" in homemade smooth bean paste and soft mochi dough. It is provided to customers on the day it is made without using preservatives. The price is 324 yen (tax included) per piece.

"Red cheeks" are strawberries with a slightly large long cone shape and a bright crimson color. It has an excellent fragrance, a strong sweetness, and a good balance with acidity, so you can enjoy the original sweetness of strawberries.

The original firm taste of strawberries, which is unique to this "red cheek", is combined with the smooth texture of homemade red bean paste and the soft mochi dough finished to match the strawberry daifuku, creating a blissful taste.

The sale dates are February 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, and 25, 26, 27 for a total of 12 days. Last year (2020), "Ichigo Daifuku" was so popular that it sold out on all sales days. Advance reservations are possible from one at the direct sales store.
