Soke Minamoto Kitchoan

Soke Minamoto Kitchoan offers "Benihogoku," a Japanese confectionery made from whole Yamagata cherries, on sale from late January through late May. The popular annual "Hana-au-tou" is also available from early March to late May.

Benihotama

Benihodama" is a new product in the Soke Minamoto Kitchoan's flagship "Spring" natural series. Whole Yamagata cherries, carefully marinated in honey to match the ingredients of wagashi, are wrapped in white bean paste and soft rice cake with a slightly pale, light red color. The moderate sourness of the cherries is carefully preserved with the gentle sweetness of the white bean paste.

Prices are 324 yen per piece, 1,080 yen for 3 pieces, 1,404 yen for 4 pieces, 2,160 yen for 6 pieces, 3,240 yen for 9 pieces, and 4,320 yen for 12 pieces.

Hanazakuromo

The popular annual "Hanaaotou" (cherry blossom peaches) are sold from early March to late May. The red cherries are carefully nurtured and harvested one by one. The beautifully polished jewel-like texture and smooth taste of the "zellige" is wrapped with Yamagata cherries soaked in honey with a refreshing sweetness.
