YAMAYA "Yaki Iwashi Mentaiko

Yama-ya Communications has introduced "Yaki Iwashi Mentaiko" as a side dish that can be eaten straight out of the bag, and will be available sequentially from late December 2020.

The estimated price is 360 yen per fish (excluding tax). The fatty meat of Japanese sardines is grilled, and the belly is filled with Yamaya's mentaiko (spicy cod roe) and mentaiko seasoned herring roe. The texture of the two kinds of fish roe, which are "p-p-p-picky", and the spicy and rich umami taste are made to match.


It can be eaten at room temperature or heated in a microwave oven for even more enjoyment. In addition to being a side dish for rice, it is also suitable as a snack for alcoholic beverages. They can also be carried at room temperature, making them a convenient snack or souvenir on business trips or vacations.
