Juchheim will release "Genuine Butter Pound Cake", a lineup of pound cakes and Baumkuchen that do not use baking powder, on January 13, 2021.

"Genuine butter pound cake" is a series of typical sweets that realizes the idea of "no additives" and "genuine nature". With the technology cultivated for over 100 years, it is baked softly without using baking powder (swelling agent). At the same time, it is made with particular attention to butter.


The lineup includes one Baumkuchen and three pound cakes. For Baumkuchen, we use the rich and discerning domestic butter that is usually used in Juchheim so that you can enjoy the taste of the ingredients and the taste of butter. In addition, New Zealand grass-fed butter, which is made by carefully kneading the raw milk of dairy cows raised on only high-quality pasture, has been newly adopted for the three types of pound cake so that the auxiliary ingredients stand out.

"Fluffy Baumkuchen" is a Baumkuchen that is made of simple ingredients and has a soft and moist texture. The flavor is improved with charred butter. Uses domestic butter.


"Fluffy egg cake" is a cake with sweet and sour hand-picked apricot jam sandwiched in a dough with a rich flavor of eggs and butter and aroma of vanilla. Uses New Zealand grass fed butter.


"Thick chocolate cake" is a cake that is baked by adding chocolate chips to the dough that is kneaded with chocolate and cocoa powder. Uses New Zealand grass fed butter. Contains 52% cocoa chocolate.


"Moist fruit cake" is a moist cake with a well-balanced balance of three types of fruits, oranges, figs and raisins. Uses New Zealand grass fed butter.
