NOMU CHEE, a "drinkable" cheesecake

A pop-up store of the new "drinkable" cheesecake "NOMU CHEE" will open on November 17 in the "Asobuilding" commercial facility directly connected to Yokohama Station. It will be sold in the store on a limited date.

NOMU CHEE, a "drinkable" cheesecake

Nomu Chee is a new type of sweet drink that can be enjoyed with cheesecake. It is supervised by a "cheese professional" (certified by the NPO Cheese Professionals Association) from DAIGOMI, a restaurant specializing in cheese. Pre-orders began on November 10, and the first batch sold out in one week due to popular demand.

Three types of cheese are used: high-quality mascarpone cheese made from raw milk produced in Hokkaido, cream cheese, and parmesan cheese. It is made with a special attention to the balance of acidity, cheese flavor, and creaminess so that it can be enjoyed until the very end.

The secret of the delicious taste is the "4-layer structure. From the top, there is a layer of crumble with the saltiness and umami of Parmesan cheese, a layer of each flavor sauce, a layer of rare cheese with luxurious Hokkaido mascarpone cheese and milk, and a layer of ultra-thick cream cheese custard with more than 50% of Hokkaido cream cheese. As time goes by, each layer mixes with the other, and the rich yet refreshing drink can be enjoyed.

The lineup includes four flavors: vanilla, strawberry, purple potato, and green tea; all four flavored sauces are handmade and contain no flavoring or coloring. When mixed with the cheese layer, they give off just the right amount of ingredient flavor.

The pop-up store will be open on November 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 28, and 29; open Saturdays and Sundays in December (tentative). Hours of operation are 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The store is located in Asobuilding Asobuilding Yokocho, 2-14-9 Takashima, Nishi-ku, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
