What is Sotoxotoku?

Sotoxotoku is a Korean snack made by wrapping sausage in a chewy toppogi dough. Ministop has also sold Korean snacks such as "Big Dog" and "Cheese Hatgu", all of which have been well received.

The origin of the name Sotoxotoku is a combination of the sausage "So" and the Korean word "toku" which means rice cake. There is also a type that "stuck sausages and mochi alternately on a skewer", but Ministop uses a "type that wraps sausages in mochi" because of the fun of the appearance and the deliciousness of eating it.

I tried to eat

Sotoxotoku with 4 bite-sized pieces on a skewer. Please use the attached Gochujang & Mayo.

Ministop Sotoxotoku

Chewy toppogi and juicy sausage with plenty of umami. Gochujang & Mayo add a little junk sweetness and richness to create a lingering taste. This is good! And if you eat one with full volume, you will be quite hungry.

Toppogi is chewy but does not stretch, so it is easy to swallow without getting entangled in the mouth. It is also an excellent snack to eat while walking. By all means when you want to silence your uncontrollable autumn appetite.
