Ministop "Sotoksotteok (Gochu & Mayo)

Korean snack "Sotoksotteok (Gochu & Mayo)" will be available at Ministop from October 9. The price is 220 yen (excluding tax).

Ministop's Korean-style menu items, such as Big Dog and Cheese Hutguk, became a hit in 2019. The new Sotoksotteok is a sausage wrapped in glutinous toppogi dough. Since it was sold at Ministop stores in Korea several years ago and was well-received, the flavor and texture were studied to better suit the Japanese taste and texture, and this time, it took about a year to perfect.

Ministop "Sotoksotok (Gochu & Mayo)

It is served with gochujang (red pepper paste) and mayo (mayo) as an optional garnish. The dough of tteokbokki has a firm yet glutinous texture to suit Japanese tastes.

The product name comes from the combination of "so" for sausage and "tteok" for rice cake in Korean. There is also a type in which the sausage and rice cake are alternately skewered, but the "sausage wrapped in rice cake" type is chosen for its interesting appearance and delicious taste.

An 8% consumption tax will be added to the product price for take-out, and 10% for eating in the eat-in space.
