Ministop "Taiwan Honey Imo

On October 2, Ministop will release "Taiwan Honey Imo", a golden brown, aromatic, honey-rich baked sweet potato, exclusively in the Tohoku region (Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima prefectures). The price is 158 yen for the S size and 198 yen for the M size (excluding tax, the same below).

Baked sweet potatoes are one of the most popular winter foods. In Taiwan, they are sold year-round in convenience stores and supermarkets and have become a popular product. This time, the baked sweet potato commonly sold in Taiwan will be sold as "Taiwan Honey Imo" only in the Tohoku region.

Taiwan Honey Imo" is a baked sweet potato with a thin skin and less fibers, which gives it a sticky texture. It is made from a baked sweet potato variety (Taiwanese No. 57) that is popular in Taiwan. The inside is golden brown, fragrant, and rich in nectar.

Also, from mid-October, the L size 238 yen will be available exclusively at Ministop in Aomori Prefecture.
