Cafe Comsa "Shortcake Fair"

The "Shortcake Fair" will be held for the first time at each Cafe Comsa store. The period is from September 24th to October 14th.

Cafe Comsa sells various types of shortcakes for one day only on the 22nd of every month, "Shortcake Day". The first "Shortcake Fair" will be held this time because of its popularity.

"Shortcake of" Yamae chestnut "produced in Yamae village, Kumamoto prefecture" is also famous for being presented to the emperor, and is a shortcake using Japanese chestnut "Yamae chestnut" which has a high sugar content and is about twice as large as ordinary chestnuts. Waguri Mont Blanc cream is combined. The price is 1,200 yen per piece (1,400 yen at the Ginza store) (tax included, same below).

"Fig and Gion Tsujiri Hojicha Cream Shortcake" is a shortcake that uses plenty of figs with a sweet and fluffy texture. The fragrant Gion Tsujiri's roasted green tea cream and custard cream go great together. The price is 1,100 yen per piece (1,200 yen at the Ginza store).

"Persimmon and pistachio cream shortcake" is a shortcake that uses plenty of fresh and sweet persimmons in season and is decorated like a flower. The popular pistachio cream is combined and accented with sweet and sour muscat. The price is 1,000 yen.

The varieties, prices, and designs used will vary depending on the availability of fruits. At the Shibuya Seibu store, Honkawakoshi Pepe store, and Takasaki Opa store, "Chestnut Mont Blanc Shortcake" and "Fig and Gion Tsujiri Hojicha Cream Shortcake" are sold for 750 yen each.
