"Autumn Dorayaki" from Aokiya

"Autumn Dora" is on sale from September 9th from the Aokiya store and online shop. The price is 280 yen (tax included) per piece.

■ Akidora, a marron paste with chopped chestnuts, is a dora-yaki made by mixing white bean paste with pure fresh cream (35%) and roughly chopped chestnuts. The dora skin containing Jonan powder is characterized by a chewy texture. By mixing the authentic white bean paste, which is unique to a long-established Japanese confectionery shop, with fresh cream, which is a Western ingredient, it is finished in a Western-style marron bean paste with added mellowness and richness. In addition, chopped astringent chestnuts are mixed in to add an accent to the texture.

Expiration date is 6 days at room temperature. Sales at stores are scheduled to be limited by the end of October.
