From the "Koeda" series of chocolate confections, the autumn flavor "Annoimo" has been on sale since late August. The price is 180 yen (tax not included). Available at convenience stores and supermarkets.

Koeda Anoimo

A white chocolate base with sweet potato powder from Tanegashima and domestic sweet potato powder. The package is decorated with maple leaves on a pink background, reminiscent of Japanese washi paper, giving it an autumnal feel.


Inside the box are 11 sachets of 4 bars. Convenient to eat in individual packages.


The twigs inside are bright yellow, like sweet potatoes. It's different from the usual blackish twigs, but this color has a tree branch feel to it.

Koeda Annaimo - I tried it.

When you bite into it, the chocolate melts smoothly. The deep sweetness of the sweet potatoes fills your mouth. You can also taste the crunchy flavor of the sweet potato, which is even better than I imagined!
