Pasco Shikishima has been selling a new bagel witch bread product "Bagel Witch An Butter" from September. Bread that combines "an x butter" is already a staple, but the combination with bagels is a little rare. I saw it at the supermarket and was curious, so I tried it.

What kind of product?

Sandwich margarine with bean paste and butter on bagel dough with whole wheat flour. All wheat flour is made from domestic wheat "Yumechikara". The purchase price at a supermarket in Tokyo is 125 yen (excluding tax).

I tried to eat

A bagel that is soft and fluffy, but has a tight and chewy texture. The fragrance unique to whole grain flour is fluffy.


The bean paste inside is tailored so that you can enjoy both the creaminess of the base and the chewy texture of the grains. You can enjoy the firm sweetness that responds to voluminous bagels.


Margarine with butter is hard to feel the moment you eat it, but when it gradually melts with the heat in your mouth, its presence increases. It wraps the sweetness of the bean paste in a mellow and rich manner over the aftertaste.
