What do pancakes taste like?
You can season it with soy sauce, ponzu, raayu, or any other seasoning you like.Yum! The hot dough is crispy and fragrant on the surface and fluffy and chewy when you bite into it. The aroma of sesame oil stimulates the appetite. The spring onions inside are crispy and bitter, adding a nice accent. This is the kind of thing that makes you want to drink beer or highball...
The okonomiyaki powder itself has the taste of dashi, so it is delicious even if you eat it as is without pouring anything on it. If you want to make the pancake spicy, you can add a little soy sauce to the batter. You can also add seafood such as small shrimps or squid to make a seafood pancake, or use any other ingredients you have in the refrigerator. You can even chop up some kimchi and add it to the pancake. How about a cold beer with it?
