FamilyMart "Zaru Zhonghua

Zaru Zhonghua, a cool summer noodle widely popular in the Tohoku region, will go on sale at FamilyMart stores in the Tohoku and Niigata prefectures on July 14. The price is 330 yen (including tax).

Zaru Zhonka" is Chinese noodles dipped in Japanese-style sauce like somen noodles, and is a staple in the Tohoku region during the hot season. FamilyMart's new product uses a Japanese-style sauce flavored with bonito and approximately 260 grams of noodles with a smooth, supple texture, making it a simple yet satisfying dish.

The noodles are glutinous and elastic. The three-layer noodle is made by combining an outer layer (emphasizing smoothness) and an inner layer (emphasizing texture) of dough made from different blends of wheat and other ingredients, and it is well mixed with the soup, making the meal more satisfying. Toppings include green onion, shredded nori, and wasabi as condiments.
