Japanese sweets with watermelon juice will be available again this year!

Maruhachi Confectionery, known for "Yakumo Dango," is selling the summer-only "Saigurawa Warabimochi 6-piece set" and "Chocolate squid dumplings". In addition to being able to purchase sets from the direct sales site, from July 3rd, each one will be available at the factory direct sales office.

Summer-like sweets that appear every year. Watermelon dumplings and watermelon warabi mochi made from only domestic fruit juice.

The selling price of watermelon warabi mochi is 1,500 yen for a set of 6 (excluding tax, the same applies below). Black sesame seeds are put in a clear red warabi mochi with the image of watermelon seeds, and when you take a bite, it has a chewy texture and a refreshingly sweet watermelon taste.

Watermelon Warabimochi

A set of 12 watermelon dumplings costs 3,000 yen. Its appearance is like a small watermelon, and a red dumpling with plenty of watermelon juice is coated with chocolate that imitates the skin of a watermelon.

Both are sticky on skewers and easy to eat, and are finished in a dish that you can cool well and enjoy the deliciousness in the hot summer. Both arrive frozen and can be enjoyed as they are after thawing in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. The best-by date is 1 month when frozen and 2 days in the refrigerator when thawed.
