Here are the ingredients for 2 servings.1 egg
300 ml water
A few green onions
2 teaspoons all-purpose Chinese dashi paste
Put water and Chinese dashi paste in a pot and bring to a boil.
Turn in the beaten egg and stir gently with chopsticks.
Serve in a bowl and sprinkle with green onions if desired.
Yummma~! Although there are only ingredients, egg and green onion, the taste is so complex.... Just by boiling and melting the paste, it became a splendid feast of soup.
Namul (bean sprouts) - easy to make with Chinese dashi paste
Ingredients for 2 servings200 g bean sprouts
2 teaspoons sesame oil
A pinch of white sesame seeds
2 teaspoons all-purpose Chinese soup stock paste
Boil bean sprouts quickly and remove from heat in a colander.
In a bowl, mix together the boiled bean sprouts, Chinese dashi paste, and sesame oil.
Serve on a plate, sprinkle with white sesame seeds, and voila!
I recommend this dish because it is so easy to make, yet it is the best drink you can drink. The crunchy bean sprouts and the mild umami and richness of the Chinese broth go together perfectly!
The Chinese dashi paste is also peppery, so the combination with the garlic gives it just the right amount of punch. This is one of the reasons why you can't stop eating.
