I tried FamilyMart's Famichiki "Famichiki Kaki no Tane (soy sauce flavor)". A hot snack with a pleasant crunchy texture that is made from persimmon seeds.
The selling price is 198 yen (tax included). The chicken in the batter is charred soy sauce flavored, seasoned with bonito and kelp soup stock, and spicy with black pepper and chili pepper.
It is located in the hot snack corner in front of the store's checkout counter. If you can buy freshly fried food, you can just chew it up. If you want to eat at home, you can put aluminum foil on the toaster oven and warm it lightly.
The difference from normal Famichiki is the ruggedness of the clothes. The texture of the surface is also rough, probably because of the persimmon seeds. However, if you look closely, it seems that it does not contain whole persimmon seeds.
You can see the thickness of the batter by inserting a knife. When I tasted it, the texture was really crunchy and crunchy. At first, it has a fairly firm texture, but it is interesting that it crumbles as soon as you bite it.
However, it is a further enhancement of the "crispy feeling" of fried chicken, and is slightly different from that "crispy feeling" of persimmon seeds. The seasoning is spicy and has the depth of soy sauce and soup stock, and in addition, it has that fluffy flavor that is associated with the aroma of rice and the aroma of rice crackers.
Perfect for a little hunger, such as between breakfast and lunch, between lunch and dinner, and dinner. If you like Famichiki and Kaki no Tane, check it out while shopping.
