PARM Umami Matcha

Morinaga Milk Industry's chocolate popsicles will feature a limited-time matcha flavor, "PARM Umami Matcha." It will be on sale from May 11th.

The estimated price is 180 yen (excluding tax) and the calories are 208 kcal. A new flavor of the familiar Morinaga "PARM" series. Due to the increasing popularity of the "Japanese" flavor of ice cream these days, it was made as a dish of smooth matcha ice cream wrapped in soft-tasting matcha chocolate.

The raw material for matcha is also called "Tea Genkyo", and 100% of the most picked tea leaves from Wazuka Town, Kyoto Prefecture, which has long been one of the leading producers of high-quality tea in Japan, are used. It is characterized by a deep and delicious taste that is born from an environment such as a cool climate surrounded by mountains and rivers and a large temperature difference between day and night.

In addition, the package is a collaboration with Kyoto's long-established tenugui shop "Eirakuya". Three types of designs with original designs will be developed. It will be widely handled at convenience stores, mass retailers, and general retailers nationwide until around September.
