Starbucks' new store space "SMART LOUNGE" opened on March 23 at the newly opened "Takanawa Gateway Station" in Minato-ku, Tokyo. This is the first store in Japan that specializes in single-use and business use.


The store has a full range of semi-private room seats and single-seat seats for those who want to use it alone for work or work. There are also two booth-type shared offices "STATION BOOTH" that are completely private rooms, providing a space where you can concentrate on your work comfortably.


Power is installed in all the seats of the counter table that separates the personal space along the terrace from the six semi-private room seats. Wi-Fi is also available. In addition, we have incorporated a mobile battery sharing service for portable smartphones to handle sudden shortages of charge. Of course, there is also a big table that can be used not only for one person but also for meetings with multiple people.



In addition to specializing in cashless payments using transportation-related electronic money such as Starbucks cards and Suica, we have also introduced "Mobile Order & Pay," which allows customers to make order payments in advance and receive products smoothly at stores. We have realized a speedy and smart purchasing experience.


The Starbucks Coffee Takanawa Gateway Station store is located on the 3rd floor of Takanawa Gateway Station (outside the ticket gate). Business hours are from 7:00 to 21:00.
