I tried the limited-time menu "Garitama Beef Rice" at Matsuya. A slightly junk cup of beef and onion entwined with garlic soy sauce, topped with green onions and chopped seaweed, and served with Zha cai. You can enjoy the surprising compatibility by inserting the attached egg.
The price is usually 490 yen (tax included). The garlic soy sauce, which works well on the softly boiled beef that is the same as the ingredients for beef rice, has an appetizing smell just by bringing your nose close to it. Since it is Matsuya, it comes with miso soup.
Chopped seaweed and green onion are standard condiments in Matsuya's beef rice menu, but Zha cai may not be eaten with you. When I cracked the egg, it was not raw but soft-boiled. Shall we happen?
Feeling a little better, make a small pocket with chopsticks around the center of the beef rice, and then put the egg on it.
After that, break the yolk and let it flow out, entangle it in the beef, and sprinkle it with Zha cai, green onions, and chopped seaweed. The garlic scent is added to the usual sweet and sour beef taste, and you can also enjoy the complex texture such as crunchy and crispy.
The mellow egg texture is a good match for beef and iron plates. It does not have strong spiciness or acidity, and is characterized by its good texture and garlic scent, so you can enjoy the change in taste even if you sprinkle the shichimi peppers that you have provided.
