Komeda coffee shop "Kronage"

The new dessert "Kronage" that is offered at each Komeda coffee shop in the eastern Japan area (excluding some shops). This is a limited-time menu until April 5th. Prices range from 550 yen to 570 yen (tax included, prices vary depending on the store).

"Kronage" is a warm Baumkuchen with a slight cocoa scent and a smooth vanilla soft serve ice cream. By warming it, Baumkuchen changes softly and softly, and the soft serve ice cream soaks in just right. If you like, you can enjoy it with the attached syrup (with honey).

Chronage

The name "Kronage" comes from the appearance of white snow-covered soft serve ice cream on top of the cocoa-colored Baumkuchen. The combination of "black" and "neige", which means snow in French, was named "Kronage". Like "Shiro Noir", it also means that warm Baumkuchen and cold soft serve "warm and cold" are combined.

Chronage Tasting

Plenty of soft serve ice cream in the carved Baumkuchen. First, do not sprinkle syrup, just a piece. The sides of Baumkuchen are fragrant, and the inside is moist and firm. The subtle cocoa flavor and sweetness spread.

The soft serve ice cream that makes you feel the richness of milk is stable and delicious! If you like, you can add honey to add a sticky sweetness and enjoy a different taste.

The dense Baumkuchen dough is attractive, but when asked if it goes well with soft serve ice cream, it may be a little subtle ... Because Baumkuchen itself is solid, the sense of unity with the melted soft serve ice cream is modest compared to Shiro Noir. I get the impression that Baumkuchen and soft serve ice cream are separated in the mouth.

However, Baumkuchen, which leaves a slight cocoa flavor, goes well with coffee! Shiro Noir is just right for those who are too voluminous or too sweet. For a limited time, check it out as soon as possible if you are interested!
