"Tiger Gyoza Kaikan Udagawa", located about a 7-minute walk from Shibuya Station, collaborates with the popular work "Dorohedoro" for a limited time! I checked the menu and waiting time that I was interested in.

"Dorohedoro" is a dark fantasy work by Mr. Hayashida, who has been loved for 18 years since the serialization started in 2000. It was a shocking work that was thought to be impossible to visualize because of its shocking and chaotic content, but it was finally animated by "MAPPA". It has been broadcast since January 2020.


During the collaboration period (until March 31st), Shibuya "Tiger Gyoza Kaikan Udagawa" is open as a restaurant where you can experience the dining room "Hungry Bug" run by Caiman's friend Nikaido. You can eat Caiman's favorite food, "Ooba Gyoza"!

I visited at noon on weekdays. I arrived 5 minutes before the store opened, but there are already a lot of people! Look at the "Hungry Bug" sign and the panel of the Gyoza man standing in front of the shop and wait.



I was guided to my seat about 40 minutes after I started lining up. Looking around the store, it seemed that most people were ordering the collaboration menu. From young women who enjoy eating alone to couples, friends, and middle-aged men, foreigners have a wide range of impressions.

The collaboration menu is as follows. I ordered A set. All menus come with a special place mat and a collaboration coaster. I'm glad that you can get a total of two luncheon mats, one laid out in the dish and one new so that you can take it home.

The first thing that was brought in was "Gyoza-flavored cashew nuts specially made by hungry insects." The package has a hungry bug design, and it's a waste to open it ...!


The large nuts are moderately spicy and the crispy, savory flavor is appetizing. It goes perfectly with beer!


Wait another 30 minutes while eating nuts. Finally, the Ooba Gyoza set meal has arrived. It seems that it takes time because there is a limit to the number of pieces that can be baked at one time and there are many orders.


"Ooba Gyoza Set Meal" is a set of 8 dumplings, rice, soup, pickles, and hungry insect special Gyoza-flavored cashew nuts. A part of the plate is also Dorohedoro! The tension goes up!


Like Caiman, I want to put eight of them together and throw them into my mouth vigorously, but I'd like to hold back and take a bite first. The chewy skin is a little thick. When you bite it, the scent of perilla spreads along with the gravy. The refreshing aftertaste is addictive! The thick Chinese soup and the pickles with the scent of yuzu are all very satisfying.


In addition to the menu, it seems that collaboration goods such as "Hunger Bug Staff T-shirt" and "Hunger Bug Gyoza Plate Set" are also on sale, but when I visited, both were out of stock. It's very popular.


A limited-time collaboration of Shibuya "Tiger Gyoza Kaikan Udagawa" where you can enjoy the world view of "Dorohedoro". Even after leaving the store, there were lines, so it is recommended to visit when you have time to spare. It will be held until March 31st. Please enjoy the taste and "chaos" of Ooba Gyoza!
