What is Apple and Roses?

Apple and Roses is an "apple and flower candy store" born in Azumino, Nagano. Using apples produced by contract farmers, we make sweets that are not bound by Japanese and Western styles.


In addition to the main store in Azumino City, there are two actual stores, the Tokyu Food Show Edge store (in Scramble Square) in Shibuya, Tokyo. We also run an online shop.

The signature product is an apple tart that looks like a blooming rose itself. Its name is "Apple and Rose Tart". The price is 850 yen per piece (excluding tax, the same applies below). As the quantity is limited each day, it is recommended to purchase early.

Each petal is represented by an apple slice. The pink gradation is a natural color from the apple skin. No coloring is used.



Petals with a crispy and fresh texture. When chewed, the juicy sweet and sour spreads gorgeously. It's packed tightly, and it feels like an apple.


Under the petals, custard cream and sweet and sour rich "tatan puree", almond-scented moist damand dough, and crispy and savory tart dough are layered to create a complex texture and taste.


The appart tart itself is a classic sweet, but apples are rare. You can fully enjoy the light, refreshing and delicious taste of apples.

Valentine's Day limited items are currently available at the Shibuya store. "Tatan Pop Chocolat" is an apple puree coated with chocolate.


Prices start from 400 yen (excluding tax) per bottle. There are two types of coated chocolate, white and bitter.



Tightly dense Tatan Pure. It melts sweet and sour and spreads a rich flavor. The sweetness of sugar is modest, and the flavor of apples is the main character. The aftertaste is mellow sweetness with white chocolate and bittersweet with bitter chocolate.
