Ingredients
Here is what you will need, for 1 to 2 servings1 cup rice
1 chicken thigh
Ginger (tube is OK), as needed
A pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon chicken broth
Green part of green onion, as desired
[Sauce
Crushed nuts of your choice (if not available, chopped spring onions are fine)
Ginger (or tube of ginger), as needed
Garlic (or tube of garlic), to taste
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon oyster sauce
Add a little miso or fish sauce to taste.
Method of Preparation
Wash rice and remove excess fat from chicken. Finely chop ginger (omit if using a tube).Add a little less water than the 1 cup mark to the rice cooker with the rice, along with the ginger tube, a pinch of salt, and chicken broth stock.
Place the chicken, skin side up, on top of it. Add more green parts of leeks and start cooking rice.
<Place all the ingredients for the "sauce" in a bowl and mix them together.
When the rice is cooked, place it on a plate and cut the chicken into bite-size pieces. Serve with rice, drizzle with sauce, and voila!
