In the cold season, when you go to a convenience store, you will find the cup soup shelf. The other day, I discovered a strange product at 7-ELEVEN.
That is the soup series that "burdock is made into noodles as it is". There were two types, "Samgyetang style" and "Soy milk tantan style".
The price is 178 yen each (excluding tax). I was curious, so I decided to give it a try.

Pour boiling water up to the line inside the cup, cover and cover for 3 minutes. Stir lightly and add liquid soup to finish.

Burdock cut into wide, thin noodles like kishimen. Its taste and texture are ... as the name suggests, burdock as it is. You can enjoy a unique simple flavor with a crispy texture and a fibrous chewy texture.
The hardness of the noodles is just barely enough to squeeze. I thought I was a little closer to the noodles, but it was completely burdock. The raw materials are burdock without mixing, and so is it.
However, it takes a long time to eat for a long time because it is not smooth. This may be nice because you can finish eating (drinking) soup noodles in a blink of an eye.
Samgyetang has a refreshing yet rich taste with chicken stock. The chicken balls that contain some of them are also delicious because they are packed with umami.

The soy milk tan style is spicy and creamy. It has a rich taste that crosses over with burdock that has a strong presence. It looks delicious with tofu and rice.
A soup with a cup of 100 kcal that is satisfying to eat and can also take burdock dietary fiber. It's interesting to try it out differently!
