I tried and compared the 5 types of strawberry sweets that appeared only at Lawson. Financier, crunch chocolate, caramel corn on rice cake using fruit juice of "Amaou strawberry". There is also a natural Lawson brand almond chocolate, and there are plenty.

The sweets I bought this time are as follows. All prices include tax and calories are approximate.

By the way, (1)-(3) are sweets that are relatively easy to get on sale on December 10th. However, (1) strawberry mochi is only available in Hokkaido, Tohoku, Kanto, and Chubu, and "7 strawberry daifuku" are sold in Kinki, Chugoku-Shikoku, Kyushu, and Okinawa. (4)-(5) have been on sale for some time, and some stores may be sold out.

(1) Mochi

"Strawberry mochi" is made by wrapping strawberry jam with concentrated strawberry juice. Even though it is called mochi, it feels like jelly-like punipuni, which is more like gyuhi than daifuku. There is also a white creamy filling around the jam.



When I try to eat it, the strawberry flavor is mild and it does not mean that it has such a strong strawberry feeling. A sweet that you can enjoy the sweet and sour taste of the gentle fruits while enjoying the texture.

(2) Crunch chocolate

"Strawberry Crunch" is made by crushing crunchy waffle cones and hardening them with chocolate. "Amaou strawberry powder" is used, and the scent of strawberries drifts quite clearly just by opening the seal.


It is a classic combination of chocolate and strawberry, and it goes well with each other, and the individuality of the fruit is outstanding, so you can fully soak in the sweet and sour smell of strawberries while enjoying the sweetness of chocolate and the texture of waffle cones.

(3) Almond chocolate

"Almond Strawberry Chocolate (using inulin)" is a sweet that is a little different from the Natural Lawson brand. It contains inulin, which is a dietary fiber, and suppresses sugar.


A savory finish with nuts added for a delicious taste and accent. The chocolate on the outside has a sweet and sour strawberry flavor, but when you chew the almonds inside, that individuality comes to the fore. For those who want to enjoy two different flavors with one grain.

(4) Financier

"Petit strawberry financier using domestic wheat" is a bite-sized baked confectionery using Amaou strawberry powder. It is a packaging that can be enjoyed little by little in a small bag.



When you open the seal, the scent of strawberries rises softly, but when you eat it, you can clearly feel the flavor of fermented butter, and apart from the sweetness and sourness of the fruit, you will be surprised at the intensity of the sweetness as a baked confectionery. It is a sweet that is quite satisfying with one piece, and it has a taste that makes you want black tea.

(5) Caramel corn

"Tohato is huge! Caramel corn Amaou strawberry flavor" is a crispy and milky taste with Amaou strawberry juice. It is a pink caramel corn that makes you smile just by the volume when you put it on a plate.


While the strawberry flavor is solid, the caramel corn's unique sweetness is also alive and well. You can enjoy it as one in your mouth.


As for the impression of eating and comparing the five types of strawberry sweets, although they are sweets with completely different characteristics, strawberry crunch in the sense that the strawberry flavor was the easiest to understand. Next is the impression of caramel corn. However, if you want to buy only one of them, almond strawberry chocolate is recommended as a snack because it is easy to pick up as a snack, although the individuality of nuts is superior to that of strawberries.
