Day and Night is a sandwich shop near the border between Ebisu and Shirokane. It can be reached in 13-14 minutes on foot from any of the stations in Ebisu, Hiroo and Shirokanedai.


Business hours are from 9:00 to 22:00 (last order 21:00). At night, you can enjoy alcohol, snacks, and steak. Breakfast is served from open until 11:00.


Located on a corner, the store has plenty of sunlight shining through the two windows on a sunny day. With round wood tables and white tile floors, it has a vintage American feel.


The breakfast menu is a standard lineup including toast plates with bacon and eggs, pancakes, French toast, hot sandwiches, and cereals. There is also a low-carb plate. The price ranges from 840 yen to 1,440 yen. On weekdays, you can get a set drink for an additional 200 yen.


This time I ordered a toast plate and pancakes.

The toast plate is a platter of toast with butter, bacon and two fried eggs. The toast is cut in two.


The toast is crispy and fragrant, and the roasting condition is perfect. The fried egg has a hard white meat and a thick yolk. Probably using good eggs, the taste of yolk is rich.



Thick bacon has a straight taste that doesn't contain waste. You can feel the umami of pork and the juicy sweetness of fat.


A dish that stands out for its high quality because it is a classic combination. Both the taste and appearance make you feel the luxury of eating outside.


Three thinly baked pancakes are layered. Assorted fruit and unsweetened cream, it looks gorgeous.


This pancake is moist and chewy and very delicious. It has a simple, unsweetened taste that is clearly different from pancakes.


Fresh and juicy when combined with fruit, cool and mellow when combined with cream. Because there is no sweetness of sugar, you can feel the soft aroma and sweetness of wheat.


After tasting the deliciousness of the ingredients, sweeten them with a separately served maple syrup. As I said messed up, nothing is suitable for sweet pancakes. Let's be happy without worrying about calories.




It was a weekday, but one hour after the opening, the seats were almost full. It seems that there aren't many customers passing by because of its location, so it's probably a popular store. As the name suggests, day and night you can enjoy various menus from morning till night. If morning is difficult, it is recommended to use it for lunch or dinner.
