I tried the limited-time menu "Thick sliced pork tech set meal" on sale at Matsuya. The thick pork saute is full of volume. It's perfect as a side dish with raw vegetables or as a side dish for rice, and it's a set for the day when you want to eat a lot of meat.
The price is 730 yen (tax included). It uses "aged chilled pork" that is particular about thickness and meat quality, and has a smooth and juicy finish. The fat doesn't hit the tongue very much, but it's still juicy and tender, and the pork flavor is firm.
There is a lot of salty "garlic sauce" on it, and the rice goes on every day. If the rice is a regular size, while you are using the tonteki with plenty of sauce as a side dish, all the rice in the bowl will be washed away, and only the meat may remain.
You can order a large serving of rice in advance, but even if you eat the raw vegetables together, you can enjoy it as a tonteki salad instead of a steak salad. By the time everything is flattened, you can be assured that you will be satisfied with the meat you have in your stomach.
