Jibie curry!

I tried "Gibier Curry Set" at the cafe "Cafe & Meal MUJI" which is attached to some MUJI stores. A dish with a spicy taste, filled with large beans in a keema containing minced wild boar meat.

"Cafe & Meal MUJI" with some MUJI stores This time, I visited the basement of Shinjuku Piccadilly in Tokyo.

The Jibie Curry Set is a limited menu for "MUJI Week" from November 15th to 25th. The price is 900 yen (tax included). You can add one of your favorite deli (side dish). The price and content are the same for both in-store use and To go. By the way, there is no roux in the pouch in the product sales corner, so you only have to go to the store where the cafe is located to place an order.

For this in-store use, we added "figs and cream cheese potato salad" as an autumn-like side dish. This is a combination of lightly crushed potatoes and cream cheese, and is served with a homemade fragrant bacon sauce. The sweetness of the fruit The sticky texture of the cheese and the mouthfeel of the loose potatoes go well together. In my opinion of the reporter, it is one of the most delicious side dishes of Cafe & Meal MUJI.

The main dish is curry, but the name "Gibier" means meat such as wild duck, wild boar, and deer. In the limited menu, low-calorie, low-fat and delicious wild boar meat is combined with pork and three kinds of beans to give it a spicy aroma and make it a keema with a rich taste. You can choose from ten-grain rice and white rice branded as "serpentine", but we recommend ten-grain rice.

Moderate calories with wild boar meat and ten-grain rice.

The curry is MUJI-like and spicy, and it's quite dry. When I heard that it contained wild boar meat, I imagined a wild scent, but there was almost no habit, and I got the impression that it was fine lean pork. However, the meat is delicious. The beans are big and crunchy, and they are soft and chewy.

Plenty of beans

Tokoku rice has a nice texture with bubble wrap, and the difference in grain size accentuates the texture, so you won't get tired of it when you chew with the beans in the curry. Even if I ate one plate, I didn't feel hungry and it was a comfortable and satisfying result.
