Anno potato Japanese parfait

I tried the FamilyMart limited "Anno Imo no Wa Parfait". It is a potato dessert that uses plenty of potatoes for mousse, whipped cream, yokan, etc., but the one that stands out is the university potato-style potato dice with a crispy texture.


A Japanese parfait where you can fully enjoy Tanegashima-produced Anno potatoes, and the price is 298 yen (tax included). The calorie is 289 kcal. There is a thin sponge on the bottom of the container, a mousse with Anno potato paste on it, and a white whipped cream on top. It is decorated with potato dies and red bean paste.


Imo yokan has a moist sweetness, and it crumbles just by pressing it with your tongue. The flavor of potatoes is soothing that it wraps around softly.



The potato whipped cream has a slightly strong potato flavor and a strong sweetness, but it melts in the mouth and disappears quickly, giving a light impression.



The potato dice has black sesame seeds and looks like Daigaku-imo, but the texture is crispy and fresh. It is an accent while there are many toppings with a soft mouthfeel.



Azuki bean paste is one black point in the toppings such as potato one color. This alone tightens the entire parfait and gives the impression of Japanese. It has a heavy texture and you can enjoy it more by carrying it in your mouth with other toppings.



The white whipped cream underneath is a pale mouthfeel. However, the mousse is sticky and rich. It is recommended to enjoy various sweets in order while biting the chewy dice little by little. It is a dish that goes well with hot roasted green tea.
