Gusto "Daily Special Lunch

In search of high-cost performance, we have been eating "daily lunch" at family restaurants in this series. Following Jonathan's daily lunch in the previous issue andRoyal Host's daily lunch in the previous issue, we went to Gusto this time!


The charm of Gusto lunch is its cheap price! For 499 yen (tax not included), you get a main dish with rice and a free refill of the daily soup. Since it was Thursday, the main dish was a hamburger steak with demi-glace sauce and croquette. The soup of the day was a slightly sweet Korean-style egg soup.



The hamburger steak is served with a sweet and rich demi-glace sauce. It is slightly thin but fluffy and soft, and its fine texture allows you to eat it as if you were drinking it.


The croquettes with plenty of sweet and spicy sauce are crispy, and the potatoes inside are sticky and flaky. The corn kernels are slightly sweet, just like croquettes from a delicatessen! It is a delicious dish loved by all.


The rice is served well, the side dish is a combo of meat and fried food, and you can have another bowl of soup, so my hunger was well satisfied. The salad is also served on the side, making it a well-balanced meal, and for such a low price, I think it is a very good value for money.


Gusto is open for lunch from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, which is great for those days when you miss your chance to eat lunch! It is a great help for those days when you miss your lunch! Even if you add a drink bar, the price is 790 yen including tax, so it is easy to use on days when you just want to have lunch and chat.
