Yamazaki Baking will release the sweet bread "Melonpan X", which is a tie-up with the TV Asahi drama "Doctor X-Surgeon, Michiko Daimon-" starring Ryoko Yonekura, on October 12th. Limited time until December 31st.

Melon bread developed based on the famous scene of the drama. Dr. Kambara, the director of the famous doctor introduction office played by Ittoku Kishibe, gives a hint to the scene of handing a melon and a high-priced bill with a line saying "It's a melon. It's an invoice" every time the surgery by the main character Michiko Daimon is over. It was developed with a focus on deliciousness.

"Melon bread X" is baked by adding the juice of crown melon from Shizuoka prefecture to both the biscuit dough that is the outer skin and the bread dough inside. Crown melon is of the highest quality among melons, which are said to be the "king of fruits", and is characterized by its mellow aroma and flesh with plenty of juice. The outside is crisp and the inside is moist, and the baked dough is sliced horizontally and sandwiched with melon whipped cream and melon jelly.

For melon whipped cream and melon jelly, Hokkaido red meat melon juice, which is characterized by its juicy and rich sweetness, is used. From the moment you open the bag, the scent of melon spreads, and you can enjoy the taste of melon.
