Mister Donut "Missed Lunch
Have you heard of "Missed Lunch" sold at Mister Donut from 11:00 to 15:00? This is a special lunch that includes a main course of pie or dim sum, a drink, and a donut. You can eat in for as little as 520 yen (tax included, same below), and if you choose a "blended coffee" or "café au lait" drink, you can have as many refills as you like! I don't think you can afford not to take advantage of this!
Pie Muffin Lunch, the cheapest set at Missed Lunch
The price of the Missed Lunch set differs depending on the main menu item you choose. The cheapest is the "Pie Muffin Lunch" for 520 yen (510 yen for To go), and the most expensive is the "Pasta Lunch" for 917 yen (eat-in only), both under 1000 yen.I tried the cheapest pie/muffin lunch. You first choose one of two kinds of pies and three kinds of muffins. This time, I chose the "BBQ Frankfurter" pie.
Next, choose a drink. This time, I ordered a "Missed Blend Coffee" (hot), which can be refilled.
Finally, a donut. You can choose one from the lineup under 130 yen (tax not included). I was torn between the seasonal doughnuts and the Pont des Ring series, but in the end I went with the "Golden Chocolate," which is consistently delicious.
The frankfurter is a crispy pie crust filled from end to end with plump, juicy sausage. The barbecue sauce served sparingly on the side was savory and delicious!
I don't need to tell you how delicious the golden chocolate is. The contrast between the crunchy texture of the crunch and the fleeting mouthfeel of the moist, melt-in-your-mouth doughnut is fascinating. The bittersweet chocolate flavor will never get old no matter how many times you try it. Enjoy it with a cup of hot coffee and savor it.
The moderate portion is perfect for breakfast or when you want to fill up on something small. The pie and doughnut alone are quite filling, so I never felt like I was running low.
There is also a "Soup Soba Lunch" for 561 yen and a "Yumcha Lunch" for 713 yen, so enjoy what you like depending on your mood and hunger!
