As the product name suggests, rice balls are collaborated with Nissin Foods' Donbei and Chicken Ramen. I tried to compare it with the original cup noodles to see how much the taste was reproduced!

When I bite ... oh ...! Certainly this is the taste of Donbei! Although the taste is rather modest, the umami sweet soup and the flavor of the dashi stock are reproduced considerably. On the other hand, chicken ramen-style rice balls are rice balls with egg soboro and green onions added to chicken-flavored rice mixed with real chicken ramen. Chicken ramen is like a bester ramen that you can see through the rice grains.
When I try it ... Yeah, it's delicious! It's fragrant, savory and salty, and tastes like chicken ramen soup. But if you dare to say it strictly, is the fragrance a little weak? Although the aroma of roasted soy sauce, which is peculiar to chicken ramen, is a little lacking, the umami of soy sauce and the sweetness of mellow eggs are reproduced properly.
