Apple Juice Vending Machines Selling Only Apple Juice

Apples are one of Aomori Prefecture's specialties, and did you know that there are "apple vending machines" at JR Aomori Station and JR Shin-Aomori Station that sell only apple juice?

The vending machine we visited at JR Aomori Station is located in the waiting area next to the main exit. It should be easy to recognize the cute apple design on the entire surface.


The product on sale is the Aomori apple series from "acure made. When I visited in mid-September, there were four types of juice: Fuji, Jonagold, Toki, and Ringo.


The juices are made from only apples, 100% straight juice. The juice is crushed and pressed without being exposed to air during the production process, using a unique "sealed pressing" technique, so that no antioxidants are used, no browning occurs, and the flavor of the apples is brought out.

Fuji

Fuji is a representative variety with a large harvest in Aomori Prefecture. It has a rich flavor with a good balance of sweetness and acidity. It is as juicy as an apple itself!

Jonagold

It has sweetness, but the acidity that follows is more assertive. It has a fresh and clean taste.

Toki (Japanese crested ibis)

The opposite of Jonagold, the main taste is sweetness rather than acidity, and a comparison of the two clearly reveals the difference. The lingering aftertaste is a mellow aroma.

Apples

A combination of several varieties centering on Fuji, which has a large harvest. The impression is of a more refreshing finish while taking advantage of the characteristics of Fuji. The deliciousness of apples is concentrated in this product.
