Fish sausages are inexpensive, yet highly nutritious, and are attracting a lot of attention from dieters. You can eat them as is as a snack, but why not add a twist and make them into a tasty beer snack?
This time, we would like to introduce a simple recipe for "fish sausage chips"! ...It's just a recipe of cutting and microwaving, but you will be addicted to it.

I use Maruha Nichiro's recipe as a reference.1 fish sausage
That's all. This time, I will use Nissui's "fish sausage". It is a Tokuho product.
How to cook
Peel and remove the fish sausage from the pack and slice it as thinly as possible with a knife.Place the sliced sausage on a cookie sheet in a microwave-safe dish, leaving a gap between the slices.
Microwave at 500W for 2 minutes. The sausages are done when the pink color of the sausages turns white and dry. If the sausages are still pink, add more heat for about 30 seconds at a time, keeping an eye on the sausages.
When all the sausages are white, take them out and transfer them to a plate!
How does it taste?
Yum~! They are crispy and light, with just the right amount of firmness. The savory fish sausage flavor will spread out as you bite into it.It is also charming that the sausage is sometimes unevenly cooked, leaving a fluffy, paste-like texture. It is also delicious with mayonnaise!
Healthy because no oil is used. It is recommended as a snack for children or for adults to enjoy with drinks. It is easy to make and requires little washing up, so please give it a try.
*Editor's note on September 17: Some microwave oven models may not cook crispy, so in that case, try baking it in a toaster for around 3 minutes until crispy.
