The "Abura-gon-chiken Teishoku" will go on sale at Matsunoya, Matsunoya, and Chikin-tei restaurants (except for some stores) from August 21, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. The "Yurin Chicken Teishoku (with rice and miso soup)" is priced at 584 yen, the "Yurin Chicken Large Teishoku (with rice and miso soup)" at 723 yen, and the "Yurin Chicken Sauce" at 93 yen (all prices exclude tax).

Matsunoya "Abura-gon-chicken set meal

The "Yurin Chicken Set Meal" is a deep-fried chicken thigh topped with a "special sauce" richly flavored with green onions, garlic, and ginger. This year, a large set meal with 1.5 times the meat will also be available. The special sauce is based on black vinegar and contains lemon juice, making the fried chicken refreshing even during the hot season.


To celebrate the launch, a large serving of rice will be served free of charge until 3:00 p.m. on August 28 when ordering the Yurin Chicken Set Meal or the Yurin Chicken Large Set Meal.

Menu items can be taken home. Miso soup is not included with take-out set meals (available separately for 80 yen). The hearty "Abura-gon-chicken Teishoku" is a hearty meal that you can eat with gusto even on a hot day. Don't miss the chance to enjoy it with a large serving of rice for a great price!
