NITORI's diatomaceous earth stick

It is a well-known fact that NITORI's diatomaceous earth coasters are excellent, but there is also a "diatomaceous earth stick" in the diatomaceous earth series. An excellent product that protects ingredients and seasonings from moisture just by putting them in a container.

I experimented to see how good it really is!

● Verification

Put the same amount of cereal in each of the two dishes, leave one as it is, and insert two diatomaceous earth sticks into the other.

Cover with plastic wrap and leave it for a while.

~ A few weeks later ~

In the middle of the rainy season, I left the outside of the window in the humid season. Did the cereal get rid of?

As expected

First of all, when I try to eat only cereals ... it's still moist. It looks like a wet rice cracker, which is delicious again.

Then I tried eating the one with the diatomaceous earth stick in it ... Yeah, I'm sick. I'm sorry I left it for too long and sucked water. But if you say it's strong, it feels like "crispy", isn't it? In particular, the cereal around the stick has a strong impression of crispness.

Almost unchanged ...

But listen! I found only one obvious difference.

The cereals were sticking together, while the cereals with the diatomaceous earth sticks remained smooth ! This is a big difference! I'm glad I put the stick in.

It sucked moisture properly

By the way, this diatomaceous earth stick cannot be used for sugar. It absorbs too much moisture and hardens.

In addition, maintenance is recommended about once every half a month. Wipe off the deposits on the surface, chin in a 500W microwave oven for 2 to 3 minutes (be careful of burns!), And finally dry in a well-ventilated place or in the sun for 24 hours or more. I'm happy that it can be used repeatedly!
