Matsuya's "Unadon"
Matsuya's first Unadon

"Unadon" has appeared for the first time in Matsuya. The price is 830 yen (tax included, same below) in average size. It has a standard taste that goes well with sweet and soft kabayaki and white rice, and you can enjoy it with the new incense in a small bowl.

With new incense, Japanese pepper and miso soup

The eel menu is already handled by multiple gyudon chains, but this is the first sale at Matsuya. It is supervised by the famous eel restaurant "Komatsu" in Koenji, Tokyo, and the quantity is limited.

Enough to eat

The volume of kabayaki looks a little smaller than the rice served in a bowl, but the taste of sweet and sour sauce and the fluffy texture make it a good side dish.

I opened 2 bags

It also comes with a lot of Japanese pepper powder in a bag, so you can sprinkle it on as you like and enjoy the refreshing aroma and spiciness. I opened two bags as a trial, and although I could feel the condiments that made my tongue tingle, the rich flavor of the eel was not lost, and it was a perfect complement.

Plump and sweet kabayaki with spicy condiments is delicious

You can enjoy different tastes and textures by alternately carrying the plump kabayaki with Japanese pepper and the crispy new incense to your mouth. The number of kabayaki can be increased to two, and the price in that case is 1,390 yen, which is the average size.
