The popular tapioca drink can be found at familiar chain restaurants and fast food outlets. We recently introduced Fujiya's tapioca, and this time we picked up Jewel Tapioca from First Kitchen! This is quite delicious.


Jewel Tapioca" is sold at First Kitchen and Wendy's First Kitchen stores (excluding some stores). It comes in four flavors: Black Tea, Green Tea, Strawberry, and Mango, each of which is combined with flavored tapioca and milk.

The editorial team tried the standard "Black Tea. There are no cream or other toppings, but they put a dome-shaped lid on it.


When stirred with a thick straw, the milk and tea melted together to form a beautiful gradation, and the large pieces of tapioca that had accumulated at the bottom bounced rhythmically.


One sip...Yum! The refreshing aroma of the tea leaves and the richness of the fresh milk are well balanced, and the sweetness is just right. The tapioca, on the other hand, is smooth and chewy! The viscous texture is very satisfying to eat, and it is flavored with sweetness.


The drink itself is not too sweet and has a subtle astringency from the tea leaves, which gives it a clean and refreshing aftertaste. When you finish the drink, be sure to throw the cup in the trash!
