Koiwai's hors d'oeuvre cheese

Speaking of Koiwai, butter is familiar, but I found Koiwai's "hors d'oeuvre cheese" at a supermarket somewhere in Tokyo!

In addition to the plain type "creamy", there are four flavors, "salami", "almond" and "onion" (at the time of writing the article). This time, I tried "salami" and "almond" that seemed to go well with wine, and it was so delicious that I would like to introduce it!

● Salami

Aged cheese with fermented butter and salami sausage.

Umm ...! The richness of the thick cheese and the slightly junky salami's umami match insanely! Wine seems to advance with a sharp spice feeling.

● Almonds

Aged cheese with fermented butter and almonds added to finish.

This is good! It has a slightly dessert-like taste compared to salami. Creamy cheese is combined with a crispy almond texture and a nutty aroma.

I noticed that the cheese is delicious in the first place. It's rich and rich even though it doesn't have a dullness, and it has a good mouthfeel. Finely crushed salami and almonds go well there.

You can eat it as it is, or you can enjoy arranging it by putting it on bread or topping it on a salad!
