"OCHABA" is a Japanese tea milk tea specialty store located in Lumine Est, Shinjuku, Tokyo. The shop is marked by the Mt. Fuji brand logo.
At Ochaba, we use tea leaves from Shizuoka prefecture, which is a tea shop, and with the cooperation of the well-established "Maruzen Tea", which has been in business for 70 years, we have originally blended the tea leaves that best match milk tea. We offer "Japanese tea espresso" brewed with the latest technology French espresso machine and "Japanese tea royal milk tea" that is made by boiling tea leaves in milk and then simmering them.
When ordering, first choose tea from "green tea," "roasted tea," and "genmaicha." Then choose the flavor of iced "Royal Milk Tea" or hot "Espresso Milk Tea". You can complete your order by choosing from sweetness, normal, and small, and toppings from Kuromitsu Warabimochi and Shiratama (+50 yen for Shiratama).
I ordered "Hojicha Kuromitsu Kinako Royal Milk Tea" (580 yen plus tax) with the conviction that it was "absolutely delicious". The aroma of roasted green tea and this is linked and it is insanely delicious as expected! At the same time as the scent comes out of the nose, the rich sweetness strokes the tongue. Since the black honey is rich, the sweetness should be "small".
Kuromitsu Warabimochi is elastic and chewy. Again, it's really chewy . You can enjoy a Japanese flavor that is different from tapioca. There is plenty of it on the bottom, so it feels like you are enjoying a drink and dessert together.
I couldn't imagine the taste and ordered "Green Tea Peach Royal Milk Tea" (580 yen plus tax) with curiosity. The refreshing scent of green tea and the fresh sweetness of peaches are the best match. The taste of Kuromitsu Warabimochi does not quarrel, but rather has a good balance. A Japanese fruit tea that you can drink refreshingly even on hot days.
I had a slightly sober impression of Japanese tea, so it was a new discovery that I could enjoy such a wide variety. I'm addicted to the deep world of tea.
