Dessert is a traditional Basque sweet
The dessert was a cake called Gateau Basque. On the French side of the Basque Country, it is a traditional sweet, such as sable dough filled with custard and baked. It is simple and has a moderate sweetness, and the texture is plump and thick. The ice cream on the side is light and has a refreshing, gelato-like taste.
Make coffee after meals to be served with you. This is quite bitter. It instantly resets the taste of dessert with just a sip. I also got a smaller financier. It tastes a little different from the ones often sold in cafes, and it is not moist, but rather has a fluffy mouthfeel and is slightly similar to French toast.
From appetizers to main dishes and desserts, it's a mysterious and fun solder that is like Spanish food like French food, but different from either.
