● Materials
Click here for what to prepare. I refer to the recipe of Kibun.Hanpen 1 piece Hot cake mix 1 bag (150g (5.29oz))
Milk 200ml (6.76us fl oz)
Appropriate amount of your favorite toppings such as butter, jam, honey, maple syrup, etc.
This time I will use one large-sized hanpen.
● How to make
Crush the hanpen from the top of the bag by hand.Put the crushed hanpen and milk in a blender or food processor and stir for about 30 seconds.
Put the mixed dough and pancake mix in a bowl and mix them gently with a rubber spatula.
Place the dough in a frying pan with a thin layer of cooking oil, about a quarter of it, cover it, and steam it over low heat. Be careful as it is a little easy to burn. Turn it over and bake it on both sides and you're done!
● What is the taste?
When you stretch a piece, it's plump and mochi! The surprisingly plump feeling and the thick, melty mouthfeel are like pancakes eaten at a specialty store. It doesn't taste like freshly baked hanpen, but it's slightly salty and sweet and salty, and goes well with side dishes such as bacon and eggs and sausages as well as butter and honey. Insanely delicious ... By the way, when it cools down, you can feel a little hanpen flavor.
If you like pancakes that are more fluffy than fluffy, you can try it!
