I would like to introduce a product called "Mochipuchi" released by Showa Sangyo because it is interesting. This is a simple dessert mix powder that can be made with just water!

Mochipuchi

It's a white powder, but its identity is a mixture of sugar, glucose, powdered starch syrup, and modified starch (derived from wheat). When mixed with water, it becomes fluffy and chewy, and quickly turns into a mysterious snack like jelly-like warabi mochi. It's delicious even if you wrap it with fruits!

After heating, take it out and use two teaspoons to roll it into ice water to make a dumpling. If you want to make fruit mochi, put the dough on the wrap, wrap the strawberries, etc. and put the wrap in ice water.

If the dough taken out of the microwave is still loose, add heat while watching the situation and it will harden. Also, if you put it in ice water and take a long cooling time, it will have a firmer texture.

● I tried it!

It has a thick and chewy texture, and is fresh and slightly sweet. It tastes like warabi mochi. It ’s delicious!

Needless to say, it goes well with red bean paste and kinako. With fruits, the sweetness of juicy strawberries and cherries is gently wrapped in the surrounding pull-pull dough, making it look like a fashionable jelly!

Besides, you can enjoy various arrangements such as making colorful rice cakes with water and juice, or putting rice cakes made with coffee instead of water into milk tea to make it like tapioca milk tea. This time, the editorial department purchased it at a supermarket in Kanto for 192 yen (tax included).
