Old-fashioned "milk cake" simple recipe

"Milk cake" is a traditional sweet that has a nostalgic taste and sweetness of milk. Here's a simple recipe that you can make by simply mixing condensed milk and skim milk and microwave!

Condensed milk 130g (4.59oz)
Skim milk 100g (3.53oz)

● How to make

Put condensed milk and skim milk in a bowl and mix well.



When it hardens, sandwich it between two parchment papers and roll it from above with a rolling pin to a thickness of 2 to 3 mm. Is it easier to do it by dividing it in half and stretching it?



While sandwiched between cooking sheets, heat in a 500W microwave oven for 1 to 1.5 minutes. Even if it swells on the way, heat it without worrying about it.


After heating, be careful not to get burned and take it out, and while it is still hot, flatten it again with a rolling pin. Cut it into pieces of appropriate size with a kitchen knife and let it cool until the dough is crispy.

It has a light texture that cracks with the packing, and has a chewy texture that you can chew. The richness and sweetness of the milk that spreads slowly ... It makes you feel at home with a gentle and nostalgic taste.
