"Shortcake with autumn watermelon sauce from Kumamoto Prefecture" will be on sale from November 3rd at each Fujiya pastry shop. Even though it's autumn, is it a watermelon?


This is a shortcake made from "Autumn watermelon from Kumamoto prefecture" harvested in the fall of 2018. Watermelon chantery cream using watermelon paste and chocolate chips are sandwiched with a pink sponge. The triangular shape also has the image of a watermelon. The top surface is decorated with watermelon jelly with a fluffy texture and cereal chocolate with the image of watermelon seeds.


A fluffy and moist sponge, a soft and smooth cream, and a jelly with a fluffy texture melt in your mouth, spreading the sweetness of a fruity and refreshing watermelon. The "seed" is bittersweet and crispy.
