"Kirin Ramen" New "Kirimaru Ramen"
The taste is the same!

The local instant noodle "Kirin Ramen" in the Nishimikawa region of Aichi Prefecture has been renamed to "Kirimaru Ramen" and is now on sale. It seems that the old-fashioned taste remains the same.

Kirin Ramen is an instant noodle brand that has been sold since 1965 by Ogasawara Seifun, which manufactures and sells wheat flour and sells related products in 1907.

It has spread in the West Mikawa region and the East Mikawa / Chita Peninsula region, centering on Hekinan City, Aichi Prefecture, and has been popular as a local soul food. Production was temporarily suspended due to intensifying competition with major companies, but it has been revived at the request of the local community. It is said that the Showa retro package has received many fans all over the country.

It is said that the name had to be changed due to various circumstances, and the new name was decided to be "Kirimaru Ramen" in August 2018 after voting by the general public and elections.

The first production of Kirimaru Ramen will be on sale in a limited package with stickers. Kirin Ramen, on the other hand, will be the last to ship in late November, ending the half-century history.
