"PRESS BUTTER SAND", a butter sand specialty store that sells 1 million pieces a year, has made its first foray into the Kansai area. "Kyoto Station Store" will open on October 11th at the West Exit of JR Kyoto Station.

The butter sand at the store is a souvenir confectionery that you can enjoy the taste of butter itself, finished using Hokkaido flour and fresh butter. Thick butter cream and smooth butter caramel are sandwiched in a crispy cookie dough.

In addition, "Butter Sand [Uji Matcha]" will be on sale only in Kyoto this time. Butter sand using Uji matcha carefully selected for the dough and butter cream. The cream is a two-layered structure that makes you feel the bitterness of matcha butter cream and the moderate sweetness of caramel butter, and it seems that the original mellow aroma of matcha enhances the richness of butter.


The price is 1,000 yen for 5 butter sands, 1,710 yen for 9 pieces, and 2,850 yen for 15 pieces. Uji Matcha is 1,150 yen for 5 pieces and 2,070 yen for 9 pieces. Both include tax.


The store is located on the north-south passage on the 2nd floor of the west exit of Shiokoji-dori, Karasuma-dori, Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto. Business hours are from 8:30 to 21:00.
