Tea stand "TP TEA" in Shinjuku, Tokyo. It is a To go specialty brand produced by Taiwanese cafe "Chun Shui Tang".

The first store in Japan is Ekinaka in Newman Shinjuku. It is in front of the JR Shinjuku Station Miraina Tower ticket gate. When I visited on a weekday evening, there was a long line.


The signature product is the tea latte series. We have a rich lineup of "Tieguanyin Latte", "Tapioca Matcha Latte" limited to Japan, and "Latte Tapioca Milk Tea" which is the original tea tea. The sweetness of the drink and the amount of ice can be customized (except for some).


I was at a loss because of the wide variety, but I ordered "Large Tapioca Tieguanyin Milk Tea" (550 yen, all tax excluded) without ice. When you smoke with a straw, large tapioca rushes into your mouth. Soft and chewy! Excellent compatibility with Tieguanyin milk tea, which has a gorgeous scent. It's a large tapioca and contains plenty of tapioca, so even though it's a drink, it's quite hungry.



"Tapioca Matcha Latte" is a cup with beautiful white and green layers. Please stir well before drinking. The price is 550 yen.


Rich flavor of matcha! After the mellow sweetness and richness, the astringency remains slowly. Here too, tapioca is firmly in the bottom and it is enough to drink. The base matcha latte is delicious, so be sure to try the matcha rubber.


Not only drinks, but also soft serve ice cream with tapioca is recommended. There are two flavors, milk tea and Tieguanyin. You can choose cup (530 yen) or cone (550 yen).


This time, I chose "Tapioca milk tea soft serve". The smooth soft serve ice cream has plenty of tea leaves! It has a rich yet refreshing aftertaste. It's not too sweet, so it's a high point that you can fully enjoy the flavor of tea leaves. The chewy tapioca adds a satisfying taste.


The menu also includes the vermicelli noodle "Salad Malatang". You can also enjoy spicy noodles and mellow tapioca milk tea as a set. There is an eat-in space inside the store, so it's convenient when you want to have a quick meal at Shinjuku Station.

"TP TEA" where you can enjoy a wide variety of teas and foods. Following the first store in Japan, the Newman Shinjuku store, the second store will open in the Marunouchi Building in Tokyo in September 2018. It is likely to become more and more popular in the future.
